ASQHR General Rules
- Be polite & respectful of all other members at all times.
- The promotion and preservation of the Quarter Horse is our ultimate goal.
- Entries for shows & events always follow the same format, see current shows for examples.
- The health and fair treatment of all horses involved with this club is vital.
ASQHR Official Show Rules
- No more than 10 ridden classes per horse, per show.
- You may always enter "your entire QH barn" into the official shows, no limits.
- Always adhere to the age/gender restrictions for each class, as outlined in the shows.
- Keep your entries realistic; a horse may cross-enter between different divisions (Eng/West) but NO horse competes in everything.
- Horses may NOT compete in halter classes in the same show where they are competing in ridden classes.
ASQHR Member-held Show Rules
- The ASQHR's name will not be associated with any QH events/activities that are not recognized, sanctioned, or sponsored by the ASQHR in writing.
- All ASQHR member-hosted shows will be posted on the ASQHR Upcoming Events board.
- Any WWS member in good standing may host an ASQHR show; manager reserves the right to make changes.
- View detailed information about hosting a show HERE.
ASQHR Sanctioned & Combined Shows

- Sanctioned events may be hosted at the outside registry, or on the ASQHR Upcoming Events board.
- The ASQHR's name will not be associated with any WCH events/activities that are not APPROVED by the ASQHR in writing.
- Any outside club may contact the manager to request a sanctioned event; our standards & rules MUST be followed.
ASQHR Fees
- There are no fees to register a horse with the ASQHR or to compete in official events.
ASQHR Titles & Points
- Club points earned from ASQHR shows MUST be clearly displayed on the horse's page to qualify for titles.
