Appaloosa Newsletter, August 2009
My apologies for the lack of activity as of late; my poor sim horses have been sorely neglected this past couple months, and my board has not been updated in a few weeks. Summer is usually the slower season for simming, anyways, so I expect the majority of you will understand my absence.
The ASApHC is looking forward to a BIG event planned for the end of the summer, to showcase our spotted champions, and decide the top rankings in the Appaloosa breed for the year of 2009 - yes, my friends, the ASApHC Year-End Awards are THE biggest and best thing to happen all year, and many of you are looking forward to this grand event eagerly. I know I am. Stay tuned on the WWS for more details, and announcements. Some of the classes might be invitation-only, we'll see. The very best Appaloosas from the all-sim world will be competing for the Overall Year-End Titles, to be listed here on the WWS for all time; the ASApHC points will be HUGE; the money prizes will seem like a fortune; the crowds will be roaring and cheering for their favorites; the judges will be sweating and agonizing over their choices; and the horses will be in high spirits, and performing better than ever.
If you have suggestions or ideas for the Year-End Awards (which is essentially a grand show with MANY titles & prizes to be won) please feel free to post below and discuss your expectations.
Thanks for an awesome first show season for the ASApHC and looking forward to many many more to come.

Appaloosa Newsletter, January 2010
Happy New Year, fans of the fabulous Appaloosa breed, and thank you to everyone showing support for the club into the new year and beyond. The ASApHC has been growing more active with each passing month, and we are very excited to see what 2010 will bring. My apologies for the lack of newsletters (I think the last one was in August) but don't fret, the club has been galloping along and will be for as long as I am able to type.
We have several new faces joining us in the show arenas this past couple months, and by that I mean members and their horses. The spotted competitors are gearing up for a new show season and are raring to show their stuff to the all-sim world. Remember, if you know of someone in all-sim who keeps Appaloosas in their barn, pass the ASApHC link on to them and encourage them to join us here on the WWS. The English classlist is finally being utilized this past few weeks and we hope to see it become a regularly posted event with active entries, just as the western classlists have always been.
We've made a few changes to the points & titles for show results, not anything major, just more uniform so that every show is the same, in as far as awarding points & titles & money prizes. We've also added the listings for "ASApHC Titled Horses" which will track Appaloosas who have earned enough points in the club events to be listed and officially titled. We encourage our active members to keep a tally on the ASApHC points earned by each show horse and to contact Kalla Hawk when your horses have reached a critical title stage, to be added to the official list.
In the coming months we hope to see many other features, contests, auctions & sales, as well as regular events for our Appaloosas, as always. We hope to have new players join us and see the Appaloosa become as popular as any other major breed in the all-sim world.
Thank you again for your continued support, my friends.
