WWS Rules & Guidelines
R.U.L.E.S
> Be respectful of other players. Use your manners.
> Don't type like an idiot. 'LOL' is a widely accepted and understood acronym, but "w8" in place of "wait" (and other such laziness) will NOT be tolerated.
> We take our sim horses and our sim barns and our sim shows and all our sim lives very seriously, and anyone who comes along to bash all our hard work and efforts or insult us or hurt feelings or start juvenile fights will be banned.
> This is a community, a family, a club for people with the same interest in the sim horse world; we will defend our fellows and stick up for one another - show encouragement and love.
> There is a time and place for bragging about your sim accomplishments. There is NEVER a time and place for hurting someone's feelings. Show your support.
> Disagreements that could turn into a fight will be brought to the attention of the Administration via Private Message.
> The Administrator has the final word on any issue, because organizations without an athority figure tend to run along the crazy lines; you will bend to the will of the Admin if you want to remain a member.
> There will be NO religious discussion anywhere on the forum: everyone is entitled to their beliefs, and judging another person's creed is completely unacceptable. Just leave it alone. We welcome everyone, no matter their religious affiliation. Dabtes on this topic are rarely successful.
> Don't steal a sim horse from another player, EVER. This is common courtesy and common sense and common decency. Have respect for other player's sims. If you think someone has done this, contact the Admin immediately with links, FWD messages, etc.
> Contracts (such as Breeding Contracts and Purchase Contracts) should be followed and adhered to. If you deal with someone with a Contract, you should consider it law. Read them carefully before making any agreement.
> Don't steal photographs, always get permission before using any photographs you find on the internet. Exceptions to this rule are Free Use/Creative Commons photos. Of course you are welcome to use photos you took yourself.
> Don't fabricate show records (it is pointless to cheat, and it ruins the fun for everyone). All show records MUST have been earned from a sim horse game, or from an event hosted by the WWS, or from another source which has been approved by your sim game or by the WWS, or from another all-sim board.
> There will be abolutely NO pegusus or unicorns or any other fantasy creatures on this forum, no zebras, no giraffes, etc; the WWS is for HORSES & PONIES only.
> At this time, WWS does not offer a venue for dogs.
G.U.I.D.E.L.I.N.E.S
> Keep in mind that we have many different members of various ages and stages of life: this forum is rated 14A, and everything posted here will be subject to that rating, with the exception of the Real Life Discussion board, which is UNRATED. This means we use minor swear words occasionally and sometimes there are topics of conversation that would be better suited for someone who is 14 or older.
> Asking ridiculous, unrealistic prices for horses that have not proven their worth will get you nowhere. Keep things realistic.
> Demanding ridiculous, unrealistic contract terms will only leave you playing by yourself eventually. Keep terms reasonable & friendly.
> The more information you offer about a horse you are trying to sell or breed, the better chance someone will be interested. This goes for barn websites, too: make your barn unique - a well-designed and user-friendly website is appreciated by EVERYONE.
> Keep things as realistic as possible.
