Buy & Sell Rules
> Be courteous & polite to everyone.
> No fighting will be tolerated at any time.
> List your horse(s) for sale with ALL available stats & info, including links to photos, show records, vet records, breeding records.
> Suggest an asking price, or a range. (asking $8,000-$10,000 or $8,000 firm
OR
suggest specifics of the horse(s) you wish to trade for.)
> NOTHING on this board will be advertised for REAL MONEY - sim money ONLY will be accepted.
> ONLY horses with show records OR breeding records may be listed for sale on these boards. No fresh creates will be tolerated.
> Seller may reserve the right to choose their buyer on the Buy & Sell boards, or refuse a buyer for any reason.
> You can ask for offers, but if it turns into a bidding war, it will be moved to the Auction Hall. You have been warned.
> Provide your contact information, or an email address, with each ad. You can put periods (.) or underscores (_) in your email to discourage bots, but make a note of which symbols should be removed for your email address to be accurate.
> Ads will remain for up to two weeks before being removed, unless you update within that time.
> Sales contracts may be used, but remember that the sale of sim horses is based on an honour-system more than anything.
> No "legal threats" will be tolerated - it's all fake, keep that in mind.
> If you want to list conditions on your sales, that's fine, but be CLEAR about any/all conditions (buy-backs, first-refusals, reserved breedings, etc) before the sale is final.
Buy & Sell Tips
> The more information you offer, the better. Write a little about your horse's personality and experiences. Provide photos and complete show/breeding/health records. Provide links to sire & dam or offspring.
> That being said, nobody came here to read a novel: offer information but try to keep it short & sweet, to the point.
> Think about what the horse would be worth in REAL LIFE and price it accordingly.
> Sim horses are only worth what someone is willing to pay in sim-money for them. If you think he is worth a million dollars but you can't find anyone to agree with you, then he is only worth a million sim bucks to you, so don't get mad/offended if nobody wants to pay it. Just keep him instead.
> Have fun! We are all here out of our shared love for the world of sim horses!
